Process

The trees, island and sun were each hand carved into linoleum blocks. Moveable type of  "Beneath" and "paradise" was letterpressed to give the result a tactile quality. The remaining text was made with polymer plates.

Result

​

An 80's Miami theme conveys luxury and paradise while the reflective quality of water provides introspection. A blind print "INVISIBLE" was meant to reflect the word "INVINCIBLE" as it meets the horizon line in the water. This is appropriate as the song is of solitude and inner reflection.
